KIERAN Gething will take on Graham McCormack for the vacant British Boxing Board of Control Celtic super middleweight title in a rearranged clash in Aberdeen.

The pair were initially due to lock horns in October and then last month at York Hall.

However, the fight was postponed for a second time with Gething blaming the slow process of getting medical clearance from the board.

The Abergavenny fighter will now face his rival from Limerick at the Beach Ballroom in the north of Scotland.

Gething (12-3-2) was last in action in his hometown when he was beaten by unbeaten north Walian Sion Yaxley for the Celtic and IBO continental super welter belts.

McCormack, 36, has a record of 9-3-1 and is a former Boxing Union of Ireland Celtic middle champion.

Top of the bill in Scotland is Yaxley's Celtic super welterweight and British title eliminator against hometown favourite Dean Sutherland.
