It's a knock out

THE Belgium's was the cry of Stuart Hall as they threw pies at the Dutch in It's a Knock in the late eighties and you have a chance to have a go yourself.

Silly costumes, inflatable games and plenty of water will all be part of an 'It's a Knockout' fundraising event at Newbridge Rugby Club at 1pm to 5pm to raise funds for St David's Foundation Hospice Care.

The all-day event will see teams battle their way through hilarious games and challenges such as The Slippery Slope, Chicken Run, Walk the Plank, Soccer Shootout and Human Demolition.

Various stalls such as a coconut shy, antique penny games, a bouncy castle, children's rides and a family BBQ will also be available for all to enjoy, followed with live music from "4th Street Traffic", for those who still have enough energy and fancy a boogie.

Teams of all sizes and ages are welcome to join in on the fun - entry fee to take part on the day is £150 plus the commitment to raise £550 sponsorship to support the work of St David's Foundation Hospice Care.

It isn't too late to enter your teams so if you are interested either call the St David's Foundation Fundraising team on 01633 274 364, or email fundraising@stdavidsfoundation.co.uk
