Ryan Reynolds shows off his filthy mouth and his action skills in the official trailer for Deadpool.
The sneak peek debuted at San Diego’s Comic-Con in July, and has finally been unveiled in its full glory, complete with X-rated humour and blood-soaked action.
Ryan, who previously portrayed Deadpool in 2009′s film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, will reprise his role as Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero and his human alter-ego, Wade Wilson.
The film, directed by Tim Miller, tells the origins story of the former Special Forces operative-turned-mercenary, who is turned into Deadpool after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers.
Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, the superhero goes on the hunt to find the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, TJ Miller and Ed Skrein also star in Deadpool, which opens in UK cinemas in February 2016.
