After teasing on Instagram in the true Taylor Swift style, the pop star finally unveiled her music video for ‘Wildest Dreams’ at the MTV Video Music Awards.

And it’s every bit as spectacular as you’d imagine. The 25-year-old songwriter swaps her blonde bob for darker locks and seems to have gone all retro.

Taylor plays a film star (which kinda reminds us of Elizabeth Taylor) shooting in what looks like an African savannah location.

And although Tay Tay didn’t invite all her BFFs to star in her video directed by Joseph Kahn (who previously directed her VMA-nominated ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Blank Space’ videos), wild animals and a divine-looking Scott Eastwood (you may remember him from The Longest Ride) certainly made up for that.

There’s romance, followed by a torrid affair that results in heartbreak – all while the 1989 singer flying on plane rides and frolicking with giraffes, lions and elephants.

And the singer’s latest video her most certainly got her fans’ seal of approval.

Does this mean there will be giraffes on her next leg of the 1989 world tour?
