One Direction, the biggest band in the world, have announced Perfect as the second single to be lifted from their eagerly-anticipated new album, Made In The A.M.
Perfect will be released worldwide on Friday October 16, with their fifth studio album following on Friday November 13.
Social media is already buzzing following posts about the song from Liam Payne and Harry Styles on Twitter.
Ecstatic fans responded with tweets of their own.
Perfect is written by 1D’s Harry and Louis Tomlinson alongside Bunetta, Shatkin, Jacob Kasher, John Ryan and Maureen Anne McDonald.
It’s described as a love song featuring “passionate drumming, rousing guitars, shimmering synths and an immense chorus”.
The band recently headlined at the Apple Music Festival at London’s famous Roundhouse venue. They are currently performing to sold out arenas across the UK and Ireland for their On The Road Again Tour.
One Direction are also expected to perform in the US on the Jingle Ball tour alongside the likes of The Weeknd and Selena Gomez.
Drag Me Down, the first single from Made In The A.M, was released in July and broke streaming records globally. The band are due to split for at least a year in 2016.
