NEWPORT music duo 360 Degrees have formed a strong following in the locality over the last 18 months performing pop-up gigs in various live music venues as well as sell-out shows at the Dolman Theatre.

Comprising vocalist Jordan Archer and keyboard instrumentalist Marino Meano, the pairs second annual Christmas show at The Dolman on Saturday evening was a surefire hit with anyone who loves soul and disco lightly sprinkled with a selection of Yuletide hits.

Vocalist Jordan Archer is no stranger to the stage having already played lead roles in several of Centrestage Cymru’s fine productions. In 360 Degrees, Jordan gets to broaden his music repertoire further tackling such floor fillers as Stevie Wonder’s Superstition and The Jackson Five’s I Want You Back.

Providing vibrant and charismatic accompaniment on Keyboards is Marino Meano, who wastes no time in encouraging audience participation and encouraging the audience to respond with several standing ovations.

There were also a few surprises including Marino performing the rap, Marino G, whilst accompanied by two spectacular dancers in the shape of Becci Jarvis and Chloe Jones. As Becci and Chloe dazzled, Marino proceeded to move into the crowd encouraging much in the way of audience participation. The second part of the evening upped a gear even further as the duo and dancers returned in festive costume performing many Christmas hits including Last Christmas and Let It Snow.

The audience clearly had a ball and no doubt will have a challenge to top the 360 Degrees experience throughout the remainder of the festive season.
