The Queen and Sir David Attenborough celebrate their 90th birthdays within weeks of each other, with the monarch’s big day falling on April 21 and Sir David’s on May 8.

They are not the only famous faces entering their 10th decade in 2016, here are some other celebrities with landmark birthdays:

Jerry Lewis – The comedian, actor, singer, producer, writer and director is best known for slapstick comedy films such as The Nutty Professor and The Bellboy. He taught a film class in the 1970s where his students included Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. He celebrated his 90th birthday on March 16.

Hugh Hefner – Hef launched Playboy magazine in 1953 and his Playboy Mansion is one of the most famous residences in the world. He reached the age of 90 on April 9.

Cloris Leachman: The actress won an Oscar for The Last Picture Show and holds the record for the most Emmy wins for an actor or actress, with nine trophies, and she turns 90 on April 30.

Mel Brooks – He starred in The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs and is still working. He is a rare EGOT – he has an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony and he will celebrate his birthday on June 28.

Harry Dean Stanton – The actor created memorable roles in classic movies including Cool Hand Luke, Alien, Repo Man, Paris Texas, Pretty In Pink and Wild At Heart. He is 90 on July 14.

Tony Bennett – The jazz legend, who rose to fame with classics such as I Left My Heart In San Francisco, says he will never retire and most recently released a duets album with Lady Gaga. He will blow out his candles on August 3.

Chuck Berry – The singer, who is famous for Roll Over Beethoven, Rock And Roll Music and Johnny B Goode, turns 90 on October 18.
