PLANTING: Youngsters Twyn Primary School, Caerphilly get to work
TWYN Primary School pupils brightened their town-centre school by planting bulbs, winter flowers and shrubs.
The planting scheme was funded through the Welsh Government’s Tidy Towns initiative.
It was one of the first of a Caerphilly council-led spring clean that will spread throughout the borough in March, April and May.
Head teacher Isobel Davies said the ecocommittee was “an inspiration” for the rest of the school: “They have taken pride in their work and the result is a better environment.”
Details of the spring clean can be found at www.caerphilly.gov.uk
