Water storage firm moves from Monmouth to Caerphilly

A WATER storage company has expanded its presence in Gwent from the north-east to the south-west of the county.

Panton McLeod, which repairs, inspects and cleans structures used to store potable drinking water across the UK, has relocated from its temporary base near Monmouth to a larger unit in Caerphilly.

Iain Weir, chief operating officer at Panton McLeod, said: “Relocating to Caerphilly strengthens our presence in the region and the excellent transport links help us deliver all our services which include inspection, cleaning and disinfection of the tanks, as well as reactive and planned repairs and refurbishments.

“The new base will bring a number of employment opportunities to the area.”
