POLICE still have not been able to identify a body recovered from the shore near Chepstow at the end of the last month.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said dental records have so far not matched any missing people.
The force received a report that a body had been found in the water at Tutshill, Beachley, in the morning of March 27.
Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA), Chepstow and Penarth Coastguards and Gloucester Police attended after 11.05am.
The police spokesman added: "At present work is continuing to identify the person. Until we know who it is we are dealing with it as unexplained."
