THERE were no queues for people wanting to get the MMR vaccine at Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan in Ebbw Vale on Saturday morning as 347 patients were given the jab.
Extra staff meant there were no queues at the combined measles, mumps and rubella vaccination clinic, said a spokesman for the Aneurin Bevan Health Board.
The campaign to vaccinate as many people as possible in Gwent against measles is now in its third weekend, following an outbreak in Swansea which has seen more than 940 reported cases.
More than 2,500 vaccinations were given in Newport, Abergavenny and Ystrad Mynach on the previous two Saturdays.
Further clinics are planned for Coleg Gwent's Usk campus on Monday, Cross Keys campus on Tuesday, Pontypool campus on Wednesday and Ebbw Vale campus on Friday.
On Monday, vaccination clinics will begin in secondary schools.
