TRIPLETS from Ysgol Gyfun Gwynllyw in Pontypool celebrated their GCSE success today achieving 10 A*, 8 A and 16 B grades between them.
Libby, Will and Josh Smith all attend the Welsh school in Trevethin, where 80 per cent of the students received five or more A*-C grades, a five per cent increase on last year's results.
The school achieved a 75 per cent A*-C pass rate in English, 68 per cent in Maths and 84.5 per cent in Welsh.
Katy Smith, mother of the triplets said: "We are absolutely thrilled, they all worked really hard and we are really pleased with the results."
Josh Smith achieved 3 A, 6 B and 3 C grades; Will Smith achieved 2 A, 10 B and a C while their sister Libby Smith achieved a whopping 10 A* and 3 A.
Other outstanding students included Rebecca Rudderch–Price who achieved 10 A* and 2 A and Alys Smith with 9 A* and 5 A grades.
Head teacher Mr H Ellis Griffiths said: "Outstanding results again, sincere thanks to all pupils for their hard work and the dedication from the staff and support of parents."
