GWENT Police are re-appealing for help in finding missing 21-year -old Rhys Trimby of Swffryd.

Rhys's family are becoming increasingly concerned about his well being and are urging him to get in touch with either them or Gwent Police on 101 to confirm he is safe.

Officers investigating his disappearance are also appealing for him to make contact and assure him that other issues can be discussed at a later date, once his safety and well being are confirmed.

Rhys had been for a night out in Harleys in Oakdale and was last seen there at 10.40pm on Friday (December 20th) when he left saying he was visiting friends in Blackwood.

There have been no confirmed sightings of him since then.

Rhys is described as five feet nine inches, short dark spiky hair, blue eyes and a scar on his right eyebrow.

He was wearing jeans, brown trainers and a grey hooded jumper with black snowflakes on the front and a red t shirt underneath.

Of anyone has information on Rhys' whereabouts, they are asked to call 101 quoting log number 510 21/12/13.
