NEWPORT Gwent Dragons are set to pull off the biggest double signing coup in their recent history with two Welsh internationals reportedly on the way.
While there has been no official confirmation from the Rodney Parade based region, reports suggest fullback Lee Byrne and winger Aled Brew will arrive at the end of the season.
Despite reported interest from Cardiff Blues, it is understood long-term target Byrne, linked with the Dragons for several weeks, will sign from Clermont Auvergne.
The 33-year old former Lions member is thought to be keen for a move back to Wales and is currently recuperating from a shoulder injury.
His signing would boost a young Dragons squad in terms of experience and provide stern competition for Wales international Dan Evans.
Brew's return would mean a third spell with the Dragons after a two-year stint in France.
Brew expressed a desire to rejoin the region he has scored 215 points for when he departed for France.
