POLICE have released an e-fit image of a someone they want speak to after a man exposed himself to a girl under 16 years of age in Oakdale after asking for directions.

Officers are appealing for information following the incident of indecent, which happened at around 3.20pm on Wednesday, March 19.

The teenage girl was walking along Brynhoward Terrace in Oakdale towards Croespenmaen when a man pulled up beside her in a silver four-door hatchback vehicle (07 plate) and asked for directions. When the girl responded he exposed himself and then drove off. The girl was unharmed.

The man is white, of medium build and aged between 20 and 25. He had mousey brown hair with a swept fringe. He was wearing a light blue round neck t-shirt and stonewash jeans, and spoke with a local accent.

Gwent Police are reminding residents to stay vigilant, and to report any information they may have relating to the incident to 101 quoting log 381 19/03/14.
