A MAN who fell out of a moving car in Newbridge last week is still in a critical condition in hospital.

Police and ambulance services were called to Bryngwyn Road at around 5.05pm last Wednesday to reports of an accident where they found a man with life threatening injuries, having fallen from a moving car.

A 38-year-old woman from the Newbridge area, who was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving, has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The man, who the police say is in his forties, remains in a critical but stable condition at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
