FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Llanbradach mountainside this morning after eight tonnes of manure was set on fire.

A crew from Caerphilly was called to Llys Cambria at 11.47am, to what a South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) spokesman called a "mountain of manure". He added the fire, which had been set alight deliberately, was allowed to burn out naturally.
