THREE people fled the scene after the car they were in crashed into a garden in Caerphilly this afternoon.

Emergency Services were called to Penrhos Roundabout, on Nantgarw Road, Caerphilly to reports of a crash at around 14:25 today.

A Silver Peugeot 106 had left the road crashing into the garden of a nearby home. Three occupants believed to be young men who were travelling in the vehicle left the scene before the emergency services arrived.

Gwent Police are appealing for information to help trace the men and anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to ring 101 quoting log 293 19/06/14.
