Csaba Laszlo says his passion for a successful Hearts team is having a detrimental affect on his family life.

The manager has revealed he hardly sees his two children, Patricia and Larissa, while his wife, Marie-Anna, is yearning for the first family holiday in 10 years.

Laszlo, who has just been crowned the football writers' manager of the season to add to his Clydesdale Bank SPL award, also said mutual respect was at the heart of his relationship with controversial owner Vladimir Romanov.

"He has not tried ever to force me to go into a situation that is not good for me and that I don't agree with. I have not agreed to anything that I think is bad for the team, never. At the moment, we have normal communication and have a relationship. If he asks me, we sit together and he does not put pressure on me to do something I'm not comfortable with."
