MUCH to the delight of punters throughout the country, Tony McCoy made the long trek to Musselburgh yesterday for just one ride, and the move paid off when Golden Odyssey took the opener.

McCoy had already won three times on Keith Reveley's mare and they make a formidable partnership. "She's a tough filly and A P likes her, " said Reveley.

"He won two bumpers on her last season and also at Market Rasen so, presumably, that's why he decided to come."
