BAGHDAD: Iraq yesterday expelled BBC correspondent Jeremy Bowen and an

American colleague after objecting to their reporting. Mr Bowen said he

and a four-member television crew were ordered to leave after Iraqi

authorities took exception to a World Service radio report. It contained

what Iraqi authorities regarded as an insulting characterisation of

President Saddam Hussein. CNN correspondent Rob Reynolds was also

ordered out.
