SCOTTISH Militant Labour yesterday warned Scottish Tory MPs that they

could be the victims of a high-profile prank as protests at the

Government's water plans are stepped up. SML convener Tommy Sheridan

said they were planning an autumn of protest over the Conservatives'

planned ''water quangos''. They have called on all of Glasgow's

political parties to support a non-payment campaign for bills issued by

water boards and have promised to target Scottish Tory MPs. ''We believe

the people of Scotland have been quangoed once too often and we intend

to quango one or two of those in high office,'' said Mr Sheridan.
