Firefighters tackle grass fires across the Valleys
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a series of grass fires across the Valleys last night.
A crew from Ebbw Vale dealt with a deliberately lit grass fire at Blue Lake covering around 1000 sqm at 6.54pm. they tackled a further fire near the old college site at 7.43pm.
A fire at Wattsville was tackled by crews from Duffryn and Caerphilly, while a crew from Aberbargoed crew responded to a grass fire in Pontllanfraith at 7.32pm.
A deliberately lit grass fire in Pantside was tackled by a crew from New Inn who attended at 6.39pm.
