POLICE are warning Blackwood home owners to report any suspicious activity after a number of burglaries in the area

Crime and Disorder Reduction Officer, PC Dean Harris, said: “We’ve seen a few burglaries in the Blackwood area over the last couple of days, mainly in the Pontllanfraith and Cefn Fforest areas. I would encourage local residents to be extra mindful of their security, and make sure that they are locking doors and windows, even if they are at home during the day. If anyone sees anything suspicious in their area, then I would ask residents to report it to us.”
