APPEAL: A 41-year-old man from the Ystrad Mynach area has died after the collision at around 10.20pm on Saturday night
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision involving one vehicle on the A468 between Rhiwderin and Lower Machen.
A 41-year-old man from the Ystrad Mynach area has died after the collision at around 10.20pm on Saturday night, September 26.
The driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer was taken to Royal Gwent Hospital, and later transferred to University Hospital Of Wales where he has since died.
Specialist officers are supporting his family at this time.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 quoting log 522 26/09/15.
