Police find woman dead and man unconscious in house
POLICE found a woman dead and a man unconscious at a house in Hengoed.
Police were called at around 8am yesterday reporting that two people had been found unconscious at a house on Davies Street, Hengoed, Ystrad Mynach.
A 62-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a 63-year-old man has been taken to Prince Charles Hospital where he is in a stable condition.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
They suspect carbon monoxide poisoning but are awaiting further tests to be carried out to confirm this.
