Elderly woman taken to hospital after falling down stairs inside home
PARAMEDICS took an elderly woman to A&E after she fell down the stairs inside her home last night.
Firefighters gained entry to the property in Oak Street, Abertillery, after receiving an emergency call shortly before midnight.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said the woman was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny with unspecified injuries.
