AN arrest has been made over a security breach of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service staff's personal data.
South Wales Police are investigating the incident which happened on the evening of Friday, February 5.
A fire service spokesman said: "The service is working with its trade unions to advise affected staff of what has occurred and is taking all possible steps to mitigate any potential risk to its staff and also to assist individuals taking their own actions to mitigate such risk."
The breach was also reported to the Information Commissioners Office.
"South Wales Fire and Rescue Service would like to reassure the public and its partners that no other data, other than staff data has been breached," the spokesman added.
