HAVE you seen Doug the pug? An appeal has been launched after the one-year-old dog was stolen from a garden in Pengam.
The incident is reported to have happened between 4.30pm and 5pm on Monday July 11 and police would like to speak to two men in connection with this.
The pair in their twenties were reported to be walking alongside the wall of the garden, one of the men then entered the garden through a locked gate and took the dog. The two men then reportedly continued to walk down Fairview Hill carrying the dog.
Anyone who has information on this is asked to call 101 quoting log number: 402 11/07/16.
Gwent Police warns dog breeders to be cautious when offering dogs for sale. Anyone thinking of purchasing a dog is reminded to always ask for the relevant paperwork and to call Gwent Police on the above number if anything suspicious is noticed.
