Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Blackwood
A 30-YEAR-OLD man from the Blackwood area was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday after a woman was found with 'serious injuries'.
Emergency services were called to a house on Waunllwyn Crescent, Blackwood at approximately 4:15am on Saturday, September 3.
The local woman, aged 26, was taken to University Hospital of Wales where she currently remains in a stable condition.
The man that was arrested has subsequently been released.
The investigation continues and further lines of enquiry are being explored at this time.
