Man arrested following disturbance and large police presence at property in Cefn Fforest

A MAN has been arrested following a disturbance at a property in Cefn Fforest on Thursday.

Officers were called to an address on Pencoed Avenue at around 8pm, who were concerned for the welfare of a 46-year-old man.

A spokeswoman from Gwent Police has confirmed that the man remains in police custody at this time.

A Welsh Ambulance Service source said they attended in case of a medical emergency.

Gwent Police are investigating the incident and have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the police on 101, quoting log reference 558 22/06/17.
