A TALENTED ten-year-old raised £100 for a homeless charity by busking with his violin.

Year six pupil at Risca Primary School Louix-David Passmore raised the cash for Shelter Cymru, which he handed over to the charity at the Senedd this week.

Louix's mum, Islwyn AM Rhianon Passmore, described her son as "a very compassionate kid".

"He genuinely does care about people in society who are not looked after," she said.

"He ran after a homeless person on the tube in London to give him his orange juice as he had no money for the man and since then he has felt really passionately about helping homeless people."
