IT’S a type of travel not usually associated with Risca, but the new owner of Ebenezer’s Emporium is offering Rickshaws.
Manager Sam Powell, 37, who recently took over leadership of the firm with his brother Oscar, 19, and cousin, Jed, 19, has an Indian Rickshaw once used as a wedding car in his showroom, part-housed in the former Ebenezer Chapel.
Mr Powell said: “We like to do things that you can’t get in other places.
“People love it. They come in and see there is nothing else like us around.”
Pictured are Sam Powell pedalling, with Jed Powell as passenger and Oscar Powell looking after the African-made metal animals.
