A CHAMPION primary school football team is looking for a sponsor to help fund new kit.

The girls football team at Waunfawr Primary School in Crosskeys, which won this year's Caerphilly County Borough Championship, is seeking a sponsor.

Headteacher, Paul Fowler, is hoping a local community-focused business will come forward to back the top team in the borough.

Mr Fowler said: "Our girls were crowned County Champions a few weeks ago, so this is a great opportunity for a business to have its name on the shirts of a team destined for further success next season."
