An expanding Wales-based company which specialises in manufacturing and supplying pay-to-play entertainment equipment to pubs and members clubs has created 24 new jobs.

Coinspinner, which has offices across the UK and Europe, has doubled the size of its gaming software development team by creating 18 new jobs at its new base in Ebbw Vale Innovation Centre.

The company has also moved its Mid Wales service hub from Talgarth to Llandrindod Wells, where it plans to take on six business administration and technical apprentices.

In addition, the company’s sister business, Jabro Games, is nearly doubling the size of its pay-to-play machine manufacturing plant in Ystradgynlais, where it now occupies 15,500 square feet and employs a workforce of 24.

Coinspinner, which has recently introduced a new call handling support service to help extend its footprint across the UK, is buoyed by the results of its latest survey which show that customer service levels are at a record high and industry leading.

A Coinspinner spokesman said the expansion plans were in response to new business secured over recent months and other exciting developments in the pipeline across the business.

He said: “We have now secured operating licences to supply 21 countries around the world and the market is constantly increasing due to the popularity of our games. By doubling the size of our software development team we are now able to undertake graphical presentation work, which we previously outsourced.

“It’s a very exciting time for the business, as machine manufacturing at Jabro Games is also at a five-year high.

“The decision to establish the new service hubs strengthens our commitment to Wales. It’s designed to move closer to our customers across Wales and bordering English counties, thereby further improving response times and giving us more space to grow.

“We shall also be developing new promotions, like the Champion of Champions darts competition, to support the pub trade and increase their business, which in turn will benefit our company.”
