Cwmbran-based accountancy firm Green & Co donned their aprons and held a Bake Off at their offices in aid of Children In Need.
The firm invited three of their clients who work in the baking industry to judge the cakes - Richard Best, of Bruton's the Bakers, Sharon Brace, of The Pocket Bakery, and Barbara Jones, a professional cake judge.
The judges studied and tasted every cake, awarding each a score for external and internal appearance, as well as taste.
Nick Park, director at Green & Co, said: "We're extremely pleased to have raised £460 for Children in Need with our Bake Off, doubling what we raised last year. Our clients and tenants of Pembroke House Serviced Offices were invited to join us on the day, and everyone pulled together to support this fantastic cause, baking cakes and donating generously to buy a slice or two of cake."
There were prizes for Best Cupcake, Best Decorated Cake, Most Creative Cake, Best Sponge, and Best Overall Cake. The Best Overall Cake was won by Leanne Flanagan, the company's tax senior, for her pistachio and rosewater sponge.
Nick Park said: "It's brilliant to see the team come together in support of such a great cause. We aim to run three charity events a year which are chosen and organised by our staff. Back in July we did a sponsored non-stop walk around Cwmbran, walking a total of 110 miles between us, and raised more than £1,500 for Headway Cardiff."
