Newport-based SPTS Technologies, an Orbotech company and supplier of advanced wafer processing solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries, has won a gold award in the Royal Society of Prevention of Accidents occupational health and safety awards for the third consecutive year.
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “The awards encourage improvement in occupational health and safety management. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as SPTS Technologies, contribute to raising standards overall and we congratulate them.”
Tony Knowles, vice president of human resources at SPTS Technologies, said: “We are honoured that RoSPA has recognised our safety achievement with the Gold Award for the third consecutive year. We have a strong culture of continuous improvement throughout our organization and place particular importance to Health and Safety at all levels of the business.
