Chepstow serviced office business Basepoint has renewed its commitment to help support St David’s Hospice Care.

The business, located close to the Severn Bridge in Chepstow, has retained the Gwent hospice as its nominated charity for the second year in succession.

St David’s Hospice Care provides vital support to people with life threatening illnesses, and their families, to face the challenge of reaching the end of their lives with dignity and respect.

Basepoint Chepstow says it is looking forward to working alongside and supporting the charity and getting involved in some exciting fundraising events throughout the year starting with the Dalmatian Bike Ride on June 6.

Basepoint Business Centres specialise in the development and operation of flexible business, innovation and enterprise centres. The business is owned by The ACT Foundation, a leading grant making charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life of those in need.

Each centre is dedicated to fundraising for a selected charity and The ACT Foundation match funds any money raised by the chosen charity, up to the value of £10,000 per centre.

Tania Ansell, fundraiser for St David’s Hospice Care, said; “We are overwhelmed with the continued support from Basepoint, Chepstow. The staff are constantly looking at ways to support our hospice service and the addition of up to £10,000 match funding again this year is really going to boost our fundraising. "

Basepoint, Chepstow, donated £10,000 to the charity last year and provided match-funding to the hospice events such as The Big Bike Ride, Monmouth Raft Race, Twilight Memory Walk, Severn Bridge Fancy Dress Walk and others.
