Target Group, the financial services outsourcing and software provider, is creating more than 100 new jobs in South Wales - with 85 per cent of them coming to Newport.

The jobs will be based in Cardiff and Newport and will include roles in IT, customer services, collections and compliance.

The vacancies are as a result of a number of significant contract wins for Target, which, with the new roles, will now employ more than 700 people across its seven offices - with 450 employees based in South Wales.

The additional jobs will make Target a significant employer in the area.
