Fast-growing Lorica Insurance Brokers has expanded its operations by opening its tenth branch, in South Wales.

Branch director Brian Watson, previously of Jelf Insurance Group, said the move into the offices at Tredomen Park, Ystrad Mynach, was a 'statement of intent of our ambitious growth plans'.

Joining Brian at the new offices are experienced insurance professionals Jim Grigoriou, Howard Thomas and Craig Steadman.

Brian said Lorica, which provides a wide range of insurance broking services to businesses and private clients throughout the UK, had identified South Wales as a key target location.

In addition to general commercial insurance the team specialises in the areas of the leisure industry including hospitality and holiday parks, the technology sector including data centres and cyber risks, commercial motor, construction, farming, property owners and high net worth personal insurances.

Brian said: “Lorica’s business model is different in that our success is strongly focused on talent. We are continuing to look to recruit successful and experienced brokers and give them the support they need to prosper. Our focus is to provide a personal service to each one of our clients and to build strong relationships into the future thereby giving us the opportunity to grow with each other and develop a mutual trust and understanding.”
