Wales-based legal firm Capital Law has bolstered its construction, energy and projects team with the appointment of new associate, Rhiannon Holtham.

Newport native Rhiannon is a commercial, projects and procurement law expert, whose expertise includes procurement, risk identification and contractual documentation.

Capital’s expanding construction, energy and projects team deals with all the legal aspects of construction, engineering and energy projects on a worldwide basis, from inception through to completion. The team recently advised the Royal Mint in respect of the construction of its new £8m Visitor’s Centre and it has advised on infrastructure projects in Doha and South Africa.

Rhiannon joins Capital from Clarkslegal LLP, where she worked for more than 11 years and was a partner.

Rhiannon is also a trustee of toogoodtowaste, a charity that aims to reduce waste and alleviate poverty, and is the vice-chair of the charity’s finance sub-committee.
