It’s all change at Caerphilly-based Horizon Digital Media, one of South Wales’ leading marketing and digital print providers.

A new international investor and changes to the service offering means Horizon, which was set up in 2003, is going to be a more focused and even more customer-driven business.

Managing director Kevin Ogden said: “We’ve sharpened our service offering to focus on what will make our customers more successful.

“We’re a marketing agency after all, so our priority is helping our clients to reach wider audiences, consolidate their existing markets, recruit the right people and above all add value to their bottom line.”

With the help of investment from Canadian firm Penalta Group Ltd, Horizon will now offer its services exclusively in the areas of digital print, content marketing, design and web.

Business development manager Darren Joslin said: “We’re so strong in all four of these areas. We have our own digital presses and finishing team in-house, we have veteran copywriters and social media strategists, we have incredible talent in our graphic design team and our web developers can build everything from beautiful single-page Wordpress blogs to e-commerce solutions or massive online portals.”

Kevin Ogden said: “With Brexit a reality these are uncertain times but that won’t do anything to slow our entrepreneurial spirit. We’re going to grow our business so our customers can grow theirs.”

Despite the apparent focus on these four disparate services, Horizon is maintaining its core message of ‘integrated marketing’, believing that best value, the best way of working and the best outcomes are achieved by customers obtaining these services from the same supplier, with each service talking closely to the next to ensure consistency and cohesion throughout every project.
