Dean Packaging Ltd, a bespoke packaging based in Monmouthshire, has secured £973,000 in funding to help the it invest for growth and attract new clients.

The funding, from Santander Business Banking, will also help to create more jobs and help carry Dean Packaging through seasonal changes in demand which can impact cashflow.

Dean Packaging has more than 20 years of experience as a leading supplier of packaging materials to the food and industrial sectors. The cost-effective nature of the company’s products means it has cemented an excellent reputation in the UK packaging industry, with an established base of regional clients.

The business operates from premises in Cwmbran, Mamhilad and Hereford and is looking to further improve on last year’s successes of £1.8m turnover with aspirations of hitting £2m turnover next year.

The company, which works with a number of Santander clients, is aiming in particular to invest in its marketing and sales capabilities to secure new clients locally and further across the UK.
