Issue three of our sister title The Business has been published and this edition is celebrating women in business.

Hayley Parsons, founder of Newport-based GoCompare who now invests in and supports start ups, talks about being a women at the top of the business game in Wales.

And 25 business women from across sectors from graphic design to financial services share their stories and inspirations.

The edition also features Beverly Owen, strategic director for place with Newport city council, and Mandy Weston, the co-founder of TownSquare, which aims to create, nurture and grow start ups and small businesses in the region.

To coincide with the publication of this issue the team behind The Business will be hosting an invitation-only networking event in Newport city centre on Thursday, April 5.

At the informal business event, there will be a chance to network as well as to hear a short talk from a local entrepreneur.
