Cwmbran-based Crossford Oil & Tool Supplies Ltd has expanded into new bigger premises.

The business, which is an industrial supplies company specialising in tools, fastenings, PPE, workwear and all work shop consumables, was set up in 1981 by Richard and Jennifer Hurford.

The business moved to new premises at Springvale Industrial Estate, Cwmbran, and is holding an open day to celebrate on June 12.

In the past decade has Richard and Jennifer's children Georgina and Mark Hurford have taken over the business and have built on the solid foundation their parents formed.

Two years ago, Richard died shortly after a long-standing member of staff Martin Dodge, who had been with the firm for 27 years.

Mark Hurfurd said: "Despite these emotionally tough times we began to rebuild and form a new team. This team, headed by Phil Daunter and James Kinsella, has blossomed and allowed the company to thrive even further."

The new premises will provide customers with a new showroom which is backed by a wider range of stock items.

Although already operating from its new premises, it is hositng Opening Trade Day on Tuesday, June 12, when many brand leaders will be present with exclusive deals, demonstrations and giveaways. These will include Dewalt, Milwaukee, Dickies Workwear, Sealey, Teng Tools and many more.
