Cwmbran- based law firm QualitySolicitors Rubin Lewis O'Brien has recently achieved the Lexcel accreditation for its practice.

Lexcel is the Law Society's international practice management standard. The scheme is available to law firms that wish certify that high standards have been adhered to by way of an independent assessment. The standard is only awarded to solicitors who have met the highest management and customer care standards.

Once accredited by Lexcel, the practice undergoes rigorous assessment every year to ensure they are maintaining the required standards. The assessments cover areas such as client care, case management and risk management.

"Rubin Lewis O’Brien is going from strength to strength with a new managing partner in Sam George and a reaccreditation of the Lexcel standard of excellence," said Valerie Henley, head of the Family Department at QualitySolicitors Rubin Lewis O’Brien. "The Lexcel mark shows that in times of change our long established firm remains a constant and reliable expert firm of solicitors."

Sam George, managing partner said: "Achieving Lexcel benefits our practice and provides us with effective risk management leading to better customer service which in turn leads to increased client retention. Keeping to the standard demonstrates our commitment to providing the best service possible for our clients. It also helps with retaining our position on lenders panels and in retaining our other accreditations, such as the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Standard."
