Torfaen council has introduced flexible contracts for its roundabout sponsorship scheme following feedback from local businesses.
The council is now offering three and six month contracts that are ideal for shorter, targeted advertising campaigns, or for businesses wishing to try roundabout advertising for the first time.
It is also offering loyalty discounts on long term contracts and has added another four major roundabouts to the scheme.
Stacey Davies, transformation services manager, said: “Sponsoring a roundabout is a great way to have your message seen by thousands of people every day, with more than 1,500 cars passing the busier roundabouts every hour.
“The feed back we had from some local businesses was that they didn’t want to be tied into a long term contracts, so we have listened to what they had to say and have introduced more flexible options.
“Our new shorter contracts are perfect for businesses who want to dip their toe into roundabout advertising for the first time, or for short bursts of advertising activity.”
Ian Solkin, from the Parkway Hotel and Spa, Cwmbran, said: "The roundabout scheme is an excellent idea to help promote your business to a wide and varied audience.”
The council offers a range of different sponsorship opportunities including signage on recycling vehicles and adverts in the council’s newspaper, Torfaen Talks, which is delivered to every home in the borough.
