Blaenavon-based RWA e-Learning has made it through to the final of the 2015 e-Learning Awards in the Development Company of the Year Category.

This award recognises e-learning development companies which have achieved exceptional results within their customers’ organisations as a direct result of the bespoke e-learning content that they have developed.

This year has been a successful year for RWA as it was awarded the Aviva Development Zone contract in May and also had its OBELISK e-learning system re-branded for Aviva’s clients.

Tom Wood, CEO of RWA e-Learning, said: “We are delighted to have made it through to the final of the e-Learning Awards this year. We started building our OBELISK online learning platform nearly nine years ago and over the last three years have invested heavily in new employees, innovative technology and researching ways in which e-learning can be successfully integrated into businesses where staff want to engage with the learning experience.

"Our platforms look after thousands of learners around the world and our latest partnership with Aviva is seeing the Development Zone expand into a market leading proposition with some great plans to expand this into core business and leadership skills development for individuals and businesses of all sizes.

"We have a great team in Blaenavon who are highly skilled and helping shape the future of online learning. Making it through to the final is testament to all of their hard work and is a fantastic achievement for them all and showcases the innovative technologies and skills that we have in Wales.”

The awards evening takes place on November 25 in London.
