Firms in Caerphilly county borough have been encouraged to stake their claim in the prestigious Caerphilly Business Forum Awards, as the deadline approaches.

Businesses of all sizes and sectors have until Friday October 9 to make their submissions for the 2015 awards programme, and winners will be announced at the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards dinner, taking place on November 20 at Bryn Meadows Hotel, Maesycwmmer.

This year’s award categories are Business of the Year – Over 25 Employees, Business of the Year – Under 25 Employees, Manufacturing in Action, Innovation Award and Contribution to the Rural Economy. In addition businesses can nominate individuals for the Women in Business, Entrepreneur of the Year and Apprentice of the Year.

Denise Lovering, chairman of the Caerphilly Business Forum, said “We’re very encouraged to see high-quality enterprises from all sectors already coming forward to showcase their work and compete for these awards.

“The awards have become well respected in South Wales, and in its 14th year we’re keen to show what this area still has to offer.”
