A business started by Newport man Dan Lewis, Digital Profile, has been selected for the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme.

The tech company sets to transform the recruitment industry by providing a new matchmaking platform for digital professionals and businesses and aims to quickly grow the market share and expand the business.

After going through a rigorous selection process with Business Wales, Digital Profile will gain valuable support through 1-2-1 coaching, professional advisory services and government support.

A spokesman for Business Wales said: “The Accelerated Growth Programme offers individual support provided by coaches who have a track record of delivering high-growth, based on the philosophy that the best people to advise entrepreneurs are entrepreneurs.

"The programme is targeted at high-growth businesses like Digital Profile who want to enter their next growth phase and have the potential and determination to get there. We look forward to helping Digital Profile progress to the next step in their exciting venture”

The highly specialist Accelerated Growth Programme is only available to high growth businesses in Wales which have potential to grow turnover by at least 20 per cent year-on-year, generate at least 10 new jobs in three years and demonstrate ability to unlock opportunities in international markets.

Digital Profile founder Dan Lewis, who was previously involved with Langstone-based PHP Genie, said: “We are so pleased to be accepted on this program as it gives us access to a number of services to help us grow. From advice to funding, the program will really benefit Digital Profile in its mission to transform the way digital professionals find their next role.”
